Inability to convert chances seems to be the silver lining of this season

But on a positive note Locomotive made a comeback today!
A strong 16 man team for the game against Italia82, which we always struggle against - and unfortunately it was the same story today.
Vikings started off well, passing the ball around looking in full control, until Anas decided to do a perfect through ball to Italias fast striker, who didn't miss his chance. 0-1 down after a few minutes only. The mistake was forgotten, and Vikings started pushing for the equalizer, which came from MOM Stereo, on a perfectly delivered corner, from our returned Locomotive - good to have you back. 1-1, and Vikings kept pushing, with ball possession about 70/30, but unable to create big chances. Locomotive scored a goal, but unfortunately the referee didn't see it. 1-1 at the break.
Second half started off slow for the Vikings, where Italia created a few chances, but nothing Stereo wasn't able to clear. 10 minutes in ,Vikings were back at pressuring for another goal, but we just couldn't get it over the line. Stabell with a few small chances, and 1 very big one, where Italias keeper had his liver shot to bits, but managed to keep the ball out.
Thanks to Italia82 for a good and fair game - always a pleasure playing you guys. And thanks to the ref for a good job.
